Our guest speaker, Matthias Trum, 6th generation owner & Brewmaster will guide you through a tasting of 5 different Schlenkerla products – from their classic Helles Lager all the way down to their oak-smoked Doppelbock! Since 1405, this family-owned brewery has been honing their craft in the historic town of Bamberg, Germany. Schlenkerla are one of the few brewers left who still smoke all their own malt using beechwood logs to create a spicy, fragrant, one-of-a-kind beer drinking experience.
