Friday 5 August to Friday 12 August, come and try one of our delicious beers including this special one we are getting in for the week ‘White Rabbit Sour Red’ at Hophaus.
Turning modern brewing practices on their head, experimenting with fermentation and creating a real sense of terroir in our Sour Red. It’s a well- balanced Red Ale built from components of an open top fermented based beer, aged in oak barrels for 9 months, left to naturally acidify before being blended back with fresh beer. There is a real play on sweet, sour and bitterness with tart cherry, subtle vanilla and red wine like complexities giving this beer depth and length on the palate.
